A day of insight & innovation with international experts in the treatment of heart failure, featuring keynote speaker Bernadine Healy, MD, Health Editor at U.S. News and World Report, Former Director of the National Institutes of Health. 
Montefiore-Einstein Heart Center presented a live webcast of a panel discussion on a heart transplant. This was the first heart transplant procedure ever webcast on OR-Live. Dr. Daniel Goldstein, Surgical Director of Cardiac Transplantation, moderated. 
Internationally recognized cardiothoracic surgeon Robert E. Michler, MD, who was first to use minimally invasive and robotic surgery on heart patients, will serve as Chairman of Surgery at Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and as Surgeon-in-Chief at Montefiore.
